100 Days of Your STR Hero
Every host has their “must-haves” when booking a stay. For our family, it’s a pool. Swimming, splashing, relaxing… it’s non-negotiable. Our trip to Aquamira reminded me just how much guests value amenities that let them create these kinds of memories.
If you’re designing or managing an STR, think about what non-negotiables your guests expect. Sometimes it’s Wi-Fi, sometimes it’s parking, but for families and groups, a pool or water feature can be the game-changer.

Travel
Sometimes the best moments aren’t in big trips, they’re in the local spots.
We spent an evening at Mall of Asia by the Bay, with the MOA Eye ferris wheel, an evening stroll and even a ring toss game (we didn't win, of course!)
Sharing a slice of life outside the STR hustle, because balance, fun, and community matter too 😊.
Do you highlight local favorites in your area too?
This one’s personal, our family trip to Boracay turned into a video reel of highlights that I absolutely love. Beach life, sunsets, food… all the little moments that make travel unforgettable.
And here’s an idea: what if your Airbnb was showcased the same way? A professional reel that gives guests not just photos, but a feeling of what staying at your property is like.
If that interests you, reach out. I’d love to bring that storytelling approach to your STR.

Food
Vacation Calories Don’t Count
They say vacation calories don’t count—and I’m leaning into that with a hotpot + yakiniku feast at Tong Yang Plus. STR life is busy, but slowing down to enjoy moments like this is exactly why we build the lifestyle.
Travel isn’t just about where you stay—it’s about what you eat, who you’re with, and the memories you make along the way.
The $1,000 Mistake Hosts Don’t Realize They’re Making
What feels like a harmless message to your cleaner is actually one of the most expensive habits in your Airbnb business.
In this video, I show how those “30-second” texts add up to hours of distraction and stress each month. And more importantly, the better way to manage your turnovers.
Every “quick text” to your cleaner is time stolen from your business growth. On average, hosts lose 6–10 hours/month just answering cleaner questions. That’s 6–10 hours you could have spent with family, not micromanaging soap and sheets. Imagine your turnovers running on autopilot, while you’re at brunch instead of on the phone.
Tonight’s Cravings: Teppanyaki Steak at Teppanya
After a long week of STR work, nothing hits like a sizzling steak from Teppanya. Teppanyaki grill experience = pure comfort.
Another little slice of life behind the host grind. STRs by day, cravings by night.
Tonight’s Cravings: Crispy Pancit Canton
Crispy pancit canton? Say less. This one’s for the cravings that hit after a long day managing properties, filming videos, and handling Airbnb messages.
Just some noodles and veggies to fuel us for the STR hustle, because hosts gotta eat too.
The 3-Step SOP Process Every Airbnb Host Needs
Every successful STR owner has a secret weapon: SOPs. They’re not complicated, they’re just documented systems that save time and prevent mistakes.
In this video, I’ll show you my simple 3-step SOP method so you can stop repeating yourself and start running your rentals like a business.
I’ll break it down in 3 simple steps: prep, record, document. This works for guest check-ins, cleaner turnovers, even team onboarding!
If This Looks Familiar, You Need a Cleaning Framework
“Where’s the soap?”
“Do you need me to restock?”
“Can I swap my schedule?”
It feels harmless, right? But here’s what actually happens — one quick message interrupts your workflow, your family dinner, even your guest experience. And when you add it all up, the ‘cheap’ way of managing cleaners is actually the most expensive.
If you want your rentals to run like a business, not a babysitting gig, this has to change. I tracked this with hosts — on average, they lose 6–10 hours/month just chasing cleaner updates. That’s time you should be spending with family or guests, not double-checking towels. Imagine the freedom when turnovers just… happen. On time. No messages. No panic.

The Story of My FIRST Stanley Tumbler
You know that one thing you really want but can’t justify buying? For me, it was a Stanley Tumbler. 😂 I’d been resisting for ages… until my client completely surprised me for my birthday!
It’s such a fun reminder that sometimes the little comforts matter in this STR hustle, whether it’s the right water bottle or a system that saves you time.
I finally joined Team Stanley!!!

Grateful for This Season of Life
This past week we celebrated both my birthday, my husband's birthday and our anniversary, and it was such a beautiful reminder of what really matters. 🥂
Hosting and running STRs keeps life busy, but pausing to enjoy these milestones with my husband and close friends mean everything. Grateful for the people who’ve been part of this journey.
Learning to Drive as Adults?!
This is Host Off-Duty: a midweek break from all things Airbnb. Every Wednesday/Thursday, we show you life outside the listing, and today’s episode? We learned to drive!
Today: our very first driving lesson! I struggled, my husband was a natural, and our instructor deserves a raise 😂. We're doing this as part of our big goal to buy a car soon #manifesting and we're taking you along for the ride (literally).

Watching is the first step, but implementing is where the real growth happens.
